Psychotherapy

MTAS Psychology believes passionately in the capacity we all have for change, growth and recovery.  Psychological therapy is one of many ways we can start our journey of growth.

MTAS Psychology has a panel of psychologists, psychotherapists and clinical nurse specialists able to provide high quality, evidence-based and client-centred psychological therapy.

We work with clients across the age span; our therapists specialise in providing psychological interventions to infants & their families, children, adolescents, adults and couples.

We provide short term, symptom focused interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as longer term work informed by psychodynamic psychotherapy and attachment theory.  Work with children and families is informed by a range of models including adapted CBT, narrative therapy and systemic family therapy.

All of our therapists are experienced clinicians who also work in the NHS.  They all possess private professional indemnity cover and are registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) or the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).   A therapist's CV, indeminity certificate and professional registration certificate can be provided on request.

Fees for therapy will be provided on request.
